Do Not Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Gamble

If you like to take an alcoholic beverage every so often, keep your cash at home if you plan to do your consuming in a betting house. I am not joking. Empty your billfold, your money belt, and leave all cash, debit cards and chequebooks at home. Take whatever money you are planning to use on drinks, tipping and whatever loose change you plan on loosing and keep the rest behind.

Contemptuous? Not really. Practical really. You may well discover a success after a boozy night out with your friends and be fortunate enough to hit a marathon roll at a smokin craps table. Hold on to that account because it is as brief as it gets if you constantly drink and gamble. The two simply don’t mix.

Leaving your cash at home is a little excessive, however precautionary actions for dramatic behavior is proportionate and required. If you compete to win, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you can manage to toss away your money without a second thought, then drink all the no charge booze your belly can handle, but don’t take credit cards and checks to toss into the combination of going after losses once your drunk as a skunk brain throws away all the cash!
